Mission Statement

AGE of Central Texas helps older adults and their caregivers thrive as they navigate the realities and opportunities of aging and caregiving.

About

AGE serves over 5,000 older adults and family caregivers across a five-county region in Central Texas including Travis, Williamson, Hays, Caldwell, and Bastrop counties. All of the services that AGE provides are data informed and designed to achieve our mission to serve older adults and family caregivers with the support they need to thrive as they navigate the challenges and realities of aging and caregiving. Serving Central Texas since 1986, AGE provides the following comprehensive programs-

Thrive Social and Wellness Centers – State-licensed adult day health care for older adults with cognitive or physical disabilities who require medically supervised care, while providing essential daily respite for family caregivers.

Pathways– Individualized resource navigation, education, and emotionally rejuvenating support to help older adults and caregivers access public benefits, mental health support, community resources, and long-term care options.

Health Equipment Lending Program – Free access to durable medical equipment and dignity-restoring incontinence supplies for low-income older adults to improve safety, mobility, and independence at home.

Memory Connections – Early memory loss support and cognitive stimulation therapy that helps older adults maintain function and quality of life while preparing families for future care needs.

Technology Learning Lab – Group-based technology education that builds digital literacy and bridges the digital divide, enabling older adults to access telehealth, online banking, grocery delivery, and social connection.
